Domestic ones have the same body feathers, just different wings and tails) Rock pigeons don’t have this loon-like pattern on their body feathers (which means a spot on each side of every back feather), but diamond doves are (to my knowledge) the only common domestic doves that display this pattern. Other wild doves of the area don’t have spots on their feathers either, and their tail feathers are (like rock pigeon ones), short, wide, and square/round-tipped, and not long, thin and sharp
