| Locatie opmerkingen (dwc:locationRemarks) | Country: Guinée équatoriale, Description: Arbre de 17m (DBH=8cm) à tronc à méplats; branches horiz., verticillées, à partir des 2/3 de la hauteur totale; écorce brunâtre, verdâtre, à écailles irrég. non caduques (à larges crêtes sinueuses sur jeunes sujets); rhytidome noir, relativement fin, liber très fin, brun orangé, aubier blanc, tranche oxydant rapidement brun orange à jaunâtre, sèche, odeur fraîche; feuil. à gros pétiole noir!; ramiflore des 1ères aux dernières branches; fruits isolés intra-pétiol. ou + souvent en 4-5 groupes de 1-3 fruits sur des tronçons (12-14cm) de rameaux semi-âgés (sans feuil.); fruit à pédoncule long et fin; calice peu accrescent, très épaissi, vert clair noircissant en petites taches et gerçuré, à 4-5 lobes triangulaires pointus; ovaire vert clair, couvert d'une dense pubescence, + - urticante, de très fins poils blancs dressés, très serrés, donnant au fruit sa couleur brun jaunâtre (comme la couleur de la tranche dans l'écorce); ovaire en forme d'ogive élargie, à 5 dépressions longitudinales larges et peu profondes, apex parfois encore garni des restes des stygmates (3mm); ovaire à chaire dense, verdâtre oxydant vite brun orange puis noirâtre, à 4-(5) loges contenant chacune 2 ovules. |
