| Identificatie opmerkingen (dwc:identificationRemarks) | Foto identification is possible but very difficult since you need a picture from the side showing the underside of the pronotum. For hirtus you can see that in my observation: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/197815016 And for H.niger the last picture in the following observation from Marina Gorbunova: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/124040498 Prosternal extension angled at the start and then straight = niger while straight in the start and bend upwards in the last third = hirtus See here composed by albertomanganaro https://static.inaturalist.org/photos/521317723/original.jpg An exception are Hemicrepidius with yellow elytra, these are all H. niger see here https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/251294373 |
